Alexandrite & Nd:YAG Laser Hair Removal (Splendor X)

Alexandrite & Nd:YAG Laser Hair Removal using Splendor X with BLEND X™ technology is an advanced, non-invasive treatment designed to safely and effectively reduce unwanted hair across a wide range of skin tones. This system uniquely combines two laser wavelengths — Alexandrite (755 nm) and Nd:YAG (1064 nm) — in customizable proportions to match individual skin and hair characteristics.

Alexandrite laser energy is highly effective for lighter skin tones with dark hair, offering fast and efficient hair reduction, while Nd:YAG penetrates deeper into the skin and is safer for darker skin tones. BLEND X™ technology allows both wavelengths to be delivered simultaneously in precise ratios, optimizing effectiveness while maintaining a high level of skin safety. As with all laser treatments, multiple sessions are required to target hair during its active growth phase.

With a personalized treatment approach, Splendor X delivers long-lasting hair reduction, smoother skin, and consistent results across different skin types. Treatments are comfortable, fast, and require minimal downtime. This technology is suitable for both light and dark skin tones, as well as a variety of hair textures; however, very light, blonde, red, or grey hair may respond less effectively due to low pigment levels. A professional consultation is essential to determine the optimal laser blend for each client.

IPL Laser Hair Removal

IPL Laser Hair Removal (Intense Pulsed Light) is a non-invasive treatment that uses broad-spectrum light to reduce unwanted hair by targeting the pigment within the hair follicle. Unlike traditional lasers that emit a single wavelength, IPL delivers multiple wavelengths of light, allowing it to treat larger areas efficiently and comfortably.

The light energy is absorbed by the melanin in the hair shaft and converted into heat, which damages the hair follicle and slows down future hair growth. Over time, treated hair becomes finer, lighter, and grows back more slowly. IPL works best on actively growing hair, which is why a series of treatments is required for optimal results.

With repeated sessions, hair growth is significantly reduced, leaving the skin smoother and more even. IPL hair removal is quick, gentle, and requires little to no downtime. Because IPL technology targets pigment, this treatment is most effective on lighter skin tones with darker hair, and a professional consultation is necessary to determine suitability, especially for darker skin tones.

What you will notice

  • Long-term reduction of unwanted hair
  • Smoother skin texture
  • Less irritation compared to shaving or waxing
  • Suitable for large treatment areas

What the procedure looks like

  1. The treatment area is cleansed and prepared
  2. Protective eyewear is provided
  3. A cooling gel may be applied to the skin
  4. Light pulses are delivered to the targeted area
  5. A warm snapping sensation may be felt
  6. Treatment time varies depending on the area

You will benefit best if you experience

  • Unwanted body or facial hair
  • Frequent shaving or waxing irritation
  • Ingrown hairs
  • Desire for long-term hair reduction

Diode Laser Hair Removal

Diode Laser Hair Removal is an advanced, non-invasive treatment designed to reduce unwanted hair by delivering a concentrated beam of laser energy directly into the hair follicle. Unlike IPL, diode laser technology uses a single, precise wavelength, allowing for deeper penetration and more targeted treatment of the follicle.

The laser energy is absorbed by melanin in the hair shaft and converted into heat, which damages the hair follicle and inhibits future growth. This technology is especially effective for darker, coarser hair, as higher melanin levels allow the laser to work more efficiently. Multiple sessions are required because the laser is most effective during the active growth phase of the hair.

With consistent treatments, hair growth is significantly reduced, resulting in smoother skin and longer-lasting results. Diode laser hair removal is safe, fast, and suitable for many skin types when performed correctly. However, because the laser relies on pigment within the hair, it is not an ideal option for very light, blonde, red, or grey hair, where melanin levels are insufficient for effective treatment. A professional consultation is recommended to determine the best hair removal method for each individual.

What you will notice

  • Effective reduction of dark, coarse hair
  • Long-lasting results with fewer sessions
  • Less irritation compared to shaving or waxing
  • Suitable for precise and large treatment areas

What the procedure looks like

  1. The treatment area is cleansed and prepared
  2. Protective eyewear is provided
  3. Laser settings are adjusted based on skin and hair type
  4. Laser pulses are applied to the targeted area
  5. A warm or tingling sensation may be felt
  6. Treatment time depends on the size of the area

You will benefit best if you experience

  • Dark or coarse unwanted hair
  • Frequent shaving or waxing
  • Ingrown hairs
  • Desire for long-term hair reduction

Frequently Asked Questions

  • The number of treatments varies depending on the area being treated, your hair type, and individual hair growth cycles. Most clients need between 8 and 12 sessions for the best results, spaced about 4 to 6 weeks apart. Some areas or hair types may require occasional maintenance treatments.
  • Not to mention, laser treatments are most effective on dark hair, so we cannot guarantee satisfying results for gray or blonde hair.
  • After completing the full course, we usually recommend one maintenance (touch-up) session per year to keep your skin smooth and prevent new hair growth.
  • 1. Shave the area one day prior to treatment.
  • To ensure the most effective and efficient session, please shave the treatment area using your preferred method and shaving products the day before your appointment. This helps prevent irritation and allows the laser to target the hair follicles directly, not surface hair. Arriving already shaved also helps us make the most of your appointment time, so we can focus entirely on the procedure itself.
  • 2. Remove make up before the procedure
  • If you’ve booked a facial laser hair removal session, please arrive without any makeup on. This ensures your skin is clean and ready for treatment. It's best to remove cosmetics at home using your own skincare products that are compatible with your skin type, helping to avoid any irritation.
  • 3. Avoid Sun Exposure
  • Do not tan or expose your skin to direct sunlight for at least 2 weeks before the treatment. Use SPF 30+ daily.
  • 4. No waxing, threading, tweezing or use of any chemical depilatories or bleach the area before and while undergoing the laser hair removal sessions.
  • 5. Avoid Using Active Skincare Products and Perfumes
  • Discontinue retinoids, glycolic acid, salicylic acid, and other exfoliating or irritating products 3–5 days before treatment. Also we recommend not to use any perfume, lotion or cologne on the treatment area prior to procedure.
  • 1. No Sun Exposure
  • Avoid direct sunlight and tanning beds for 1-2 days. Always wear SPF 30+ when going outside.
  • 2. No Hot Showers, Saunas, or Intense Workouts
  • Refrain from heat, steam, or sweating for 24–48 hours after treatment.
  • 3. No Harsh Skincare Products
  • Avoid retinoids, acids (like AHA/BHA), exfoliants, or scrubs for 5–7 days. Also, avoid using deodorants, perfumes, perfumed lotion, cologne or any cream that may irritate the treatment area for 1–2 days.
  • 4. Do Not Pick or Scratch the Skin
  • If dark spots or flaking occur, let them naturally shed. Do not peel or touch.
  • For best results, we recommend a course of 5–8 sessions depending on individual skin concerns. Treatments are performed every 7–10 days, which allows the skin to gradually renew and improve.
  • After completing the full course, we usually recommend one maintenance (touch-up) session per year to keep your skin smooth and prevent new hair growth.
